Redfall Gameplay Deep Dive | Xbox & Bethesda Developer Direct 2023

Redfall is the latest game from Arkane Studios Austin, and is a story-driven FPS that can also be played multiplayer. Redfall will be set in an Open World island filled with environmental storytelling. In this breakout, we got to see a detailed look some of the enemies you'll battle's gameplay mechanics. We got to see a brief glimpse of the Rook, who Vampires will summon and seems to be a boss-like character. We also got a glimpse at player specific abilities - based on their individual upgrade trees - such as bullet hail - which absorbs bullets in an umbrella and shoots them back. Beyond the main story missions, there will also be plenty of side content for you to discover and be a part of, including dealing with rogue cultists. Beyond the story missions, you'll also be tasked with reclaiming Redfall neighborhood by neighborhood, and in order to do so, be required to take down vampire bosses. Redfall releases May 2nd, 2023.
