Planet Coaster - Jägerhorn Mountain Train (Part 1) - Coaster Building & Terraforming

All aboard the Jägerhorn Mountain Train! In this series I will be working on a heavily themed, realistic mine train coaster similar to Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and Expedition Everest - but with a European Alpine theme. Featuring rugged rocky cliffs, intricate manicured foliage and nostalgic Swiss Chalet style architecture, it'll make you feel like you're flying through the high European Alps. Hopefully. Don't tell anyone, but miniature railroads have also been an unusual inspiration for this ride. And if anything, it's a comeback for the old 'mine train' coaster in Grizzly Valley; after more than a year of waiting, a realistic sequel is finally here!

In this first part I will be working on major parts of the layout, as well as shaping the mountain it curves around using the terraforming and terrain painting tool. Also, quite a bit of scenery detailing is done to get an idea of what the coaster will eventually look like - most of all, lots of rockwork, themed catwalks around the entire ride, and upside down bushes and sunken trees to create the sub-alpine highland look.
