Planet Coaster College - 4th Dimension Coaster Tutorial
Description
In this episode of Planet Coaster College, I'm taking time to show how the X-Coaster - in real life known as a 4th Dimension coaster - works and how you can build one in-game. This one takes a bit longer than usual, since the focus is on the coaster type's unique spinning seat mechanics, rather than just its layout. That said, I hope you can still learn something from some of the parts in this video, especially if you've been too intimidated by the coaster type so far - it's barely been used until now, even though it's one of the most interesting and creative types once you get used to the controls!
Small note: I said lie-to-fly in the video a few times where it should've been fly-to-lie. The direction pretty much just refers to whether you're going from a position underneath the track to above the track or the other way around, but it's a term I messed up in the video nonetheless.
Small recommendation: if you like the coaster type and would love to know it works in real life, Coaster Bot has made a great video about X2:

About Planet Coaster College: PCC is a series of video guides in which I cover many aspects of making realistic and creative parks in Planet Coaster. One of my goals with the series is to make a video explaining each of the coaster types avaliable and show you how to build them, but there will also be some videos about elements of theme parks and the game in general, such as buildings and scenery. Overall, the series is directed toward already seasoned players of the games, though I do sprinkle tips that may be useful for beginners too.
