#eurogamer #Conscript As part of Gamer Network's recurring feature series Wishlisted which highlights some of our favourite games from Steam Next Fest, Ian Higton and Jim Trinca will be taking a look at the Steam Next Fest demo for Team17's Conscript, a survival horror experience set in the trenches of the First World War. Set in the Battle of Verdun in 1916, in Conscript players take on the role of a lone French soldier searching for his missing brother and on the way, they'll have to scavenging for supplies, solve complex puzzles and, of course, deal with a host of horrors all presented in a gorgeous but harrowing retro aesthetic.
