Insurgency: Sandstorm drops ‘Operation: Onslaught’, the first major content update for the Year 3 Pass

Focus Entertainment and New World Interactive are excited to celebrate the launch of Insurgency: Sandstorm’s third year of content by introducing Update 1.15 Operation: Onslaught and its major content, available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam, the Microsoft Store and the Epic Games Store and in enhanced version for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This Operation brings a free new game mode, new weapons and a new personalized patch system. Premium DLC cosmetics are now available to purchase or included in the Year 3 Pass and Ultimate Edition.

The M320 for Security is an American grenade launcher firing single shots of 40mm munitions. The Insurgents are equipped with the M79, also known as “Thumper,” a single shot grenade launcher using 40x46mm grenades.

Show your affiliation with the new cosmetic patch system including 70 patches to add on your soldier. This long awaited feature requested by the community is finally arriving and will be continually enhanced in upcoming updates.

The weapon suggestions and their respective premium skins are inspired by the winning entries of the Insurgency: Sandstorm cosmetics contest, as voted on by the community.
