How To Start a Realistic Big City Downtown in Cities Skylines | Crystal Reef EP3

Welcome to Crystal Reef County, Florida - our chosen spot for the start of a new realistic mega city in Cities Skylines! Come along as we attempt to build realistic cities and areas using only Vanilla Assets!

In this episode, we FINALLY establish the Downtown core of the City of San Leon, our first major establishment here in Crystal Reef County! We build up the majority of Downtown, adding in Skyscrapers and highrises, lots of mixed-density throughout such as low-density commercial buildings, medium-density offices, and everything in between! We also add a handful of placeholder parks to ensure we don't have to retrofit these later - and we wrap up with adding some very necessary city services: police and firefighting coverage as well as elementary schools! And of course - we make sure to adjust the budget according to the current needs of the city in an attempt at managing our financial situation as well as possible!

- What's the rationale behind this project:
With Cities Skylines 2 coming sometime this year, the time feels right for an attempt at an all-Vanilla Assets build - this is something I have been contemplating for a bit and hinted at earlier.
