Fortnite 3.4 Increased The Server Tickrate?
Description
The Unreal Engine (which powers both Fortnite and PUBG) really struggles under the load generated by 100 players, which results in a server tickrate of just 8Hz during the initial Mayhem of each and every match.
With Unreal Engine Version 4.19, EPIC added many improvements to the networking and the dedicated servers, which Battle Royale games should benefit from. These changes were added to Fortnite in Update 3.4, so lets see what these enhancements are good for!
