Ed Boon Explains Why Single Player Matters In Mortal Kombat 1
Description
PlayStation Access interviews Ed Boon about why single player modes matter in fighting games and how Mortal Kombat 1 is improved by a new generation of designers.
We played Mortal Kombat 1 on PS5 at Gamescom and talked to the legendary Mortal Kombat co-creator Ed Boon about the latest edition to the series. We quiz him about Mortal Kombat 1 Invasion mode, the story, how they’ve reimagined Sindel and much much more.
Mortal Kombat 1’s single player modes include the epic story mode and Invasion mode, which is MK1 combined with a board game and is absolutely amazing. Mortal Kombat story mode has always been shown a lot of love so wanted to find out why single modes are so important to Ed Boon and his team.
We also go into the Mortal Kombat 1 story, explaining how the new look Sindel perfect captures the fun of the series soft reset. Oh, and it’s never looked any better thanks to the power of PS5. Everything you see is Mortal Kombat 1 PS5 gameplay and it looks absolutely gorgeous. Which bit of Mortal Kombat 1 gameplay are you most looking forward to?
