Do we still want long video games? Time. We all have a certain amount of it left so it makes sense to use it wisely, but is sinking 100+ hours into a digital grind for a bunch of numbers on a screen really the best use of our dwindling life spans? Even thought no one really asked him, in this video Ian Higton wonders about that very question. Does anyone really want long games any more? Was the fairly negative reaction to Starfield at launch a sign that players are bored with long games? Will anyone with a job or a family to look after EVER get around to rolling the end credits of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom or the Assassin's Creed games? What you do you think?
