Curse of the Dead Gods has today launched a free major update in the form of the “Curse of the Dead Cells” Update, which features new weapons, challenges and a curse inspired by Motion Twin’s acclaimed roguelite: Dead Cells. patch of new content and exciting new gameplay elements, such as a new two-handed

New weapons, relics, curses and more to discover in the temple’s depths!

This Dead Cells-inspired update brings three of the Prisoner’s iconic weapons, the unique ‘Curse of the Beheaded’ and the infamous Cursed Chest to spice up your runs. In addition to the Dead Cells themed content, this update also includes brand new weapons, relics, and another new curse! Bombs are the new two-handed weapon type, offering a whole lot of explosive power. There are seven Bomb weapons in all, joining seven new relics that serve to make things even crazier, as well as a new curse that brings a touch of mirror madness to your surroundings!

New difficulty options and balancing

If you’re looking for an easier time in the temple or just want to explore at your leisure, the newly-added Assist Mode lets you tweak a range of options to customize the difficulty to your liking. All this comes alongside a host of balance tweaks, quality of life updates, new features, and community-requested changes. There’s never been a better time to play Curse of the Dead Gods!
