9 2025 Open-World Games We Can't Wait to Play

Open world games - we love them, we hate them, we love to hate them, and we hate to love them, but one thing is for sure; there's no stopping them.

The Open-world games in 2025 list is looking packed already, and even though we don't have confirmation of Grand Theft Auto 6's release date, we do know for certain that GTA 6 is open-world, so let's not only talk about the biggest open-world game of all time, but all the other games that are planning to take a swing at the king. Assassin's Creed Shadows, Atomfall, Mafia: The Old Country and plenty more games are stepping up to be the definitive open-world game in 2025 and we couldn't be more excited.
